Nadat jaren ons geduld flink op de proef is gesteld, is er nu dan eindelijk groot nieuws over Rihanna's eigen beautylijn. Jawel mensen, Fenty Beauty wordt eindelijk realiteit.
Rihanna teasde de afgelopen maanden al een paar dingen over haar eigen make-uplijn, met onder andere de lancering van een eigen Instagramkanaal, maar veel was er verder nog niet over bekend. Tot nu! We weten namelijk welk make-upproduct RiRi als eerste gaat lanceren.

'This holographic lip color is set to be the first product released under the long-awaited makeup label Fenty Beauty by Rihanna. This product will be available to purchase at Sephora stores this fall. Stay tuned for more.'
Een 'holografische lipkleur' dus. Klinkt spannend. Het product werd al tijdens de Fenty X Puma s/s 2017-show getoond, en wij gokken zo dat-ie al net zo snel gaat uitverkopen als RiRi's creepers.
Kleine bummer, we moeten er wel voor gaan reizen. via Instagram liet Rihanna ook weten waar haar beautyproducten te koop zullen zijn:
Zoals we inmiddels van Rihanna gewend zijn, houdt ze casting calls voor up and coming make-upartiesten. Eric Soto, de senior manager van Artistry & Education voor Fenty Beauty's moederbedrijf Kendo Brands, laat op Instagram weten:
'By opening this up the our larger makeup community we hope to build a diverse team of beauty experts who excel in the areas of artistry, elevated education, makeup experience and have an ability to best represent a brand. This non-traditional interview process levels the playing field and allows artists everywhere an opportunity and have their work seen and be considered for a global position for a dynamic new brand. Those applicants who make it through the first interview phase will be invited to a second interview at a later date and our finalists will have a chance to interview and apply makeup on Rihanna herself.'
