Wat volgde was een grote rookwolk met daarin zichtbaar het silhouet van Galliano, uit de speakers muziek met de tekst ‘John is back’. Een betere comeback kan een gevallen designer zich niet wensen, lijkt ons zo.
Na afloop verscheen Galliano, die in stilte al enkele maanden voor L’Etoile aan het werk is, ook op de photocall van het event. En in een officieel statement, dat door L’Etoile tegelijkertijd de deur uit werd gedaan laat Galliano weten het project te zien als een ‘spannende kans en uitdaging.’ ‘I’m sure our collaboration working together will lead to the creation of new and exciting events in the world of beauty for Russian women. I believe that the results will be very beautiful and breathtaking.’
