Een van de leukste koppels die Hollywood rijk is lijkt nu toch echt eventje niet meer te zijn. Eind vorige week ging het gerucht van een mogelijke breuk tussen Emma Stone en Andrew Garfield al, maar nu is het dan bevestigd aan People.
De twee zijn volgens insiders 'on a break' na drie jaar daten. De boosdoener? Hun drukke werkschema's. Emma legt de laatste hand aan haar nieuwe film Aloha, terwijl Andrew in Taiwan zit voor de prent Silence. Blijkbaar is de voormalige Spider-Man-acteur zo opgegaan in zijn werk, dat hij zijn relatie er even niet bij kan hebben. Een bron vertelt aan People:
'He has thrown himself in the project to the detriment of all else. Emma understands his work anxieties–it's why she originally pulled out of Cabaret last year and only did it this year–but they're taking a break from seeing each other. They're both a slave to their schedules. This time last year they were privately discussing marriage.'
Een huwelijk... zucht. We hopen vurig dat de twee, net als Ross en Rachel, na hun 'break' snel weer bij elkaar komen. Gelukkig wijst het daar wel op:
'It's one of those situations where only Andrew and Emma quite know if they'll pick up where they left off when Andrew gets back in May. They are just separated for work. Andrew is overseas. They are both busy with their careers and have not seen each other.'
Phew.
