En meer dan verbazen. Het is de peroon van wie je het 't minst had verwacht: Spencer Pratt. Juist. Laat dat even bezinken.
In een nieuw interview met Complex magazine vertelt Justin 'homeboy wore combat boots to the beach' Bobby dat-ie vandaag de dag alleen nog vrienden met Spencer is na de opnames van The Hills:
'Spencer Pratt actually just hit us up about a month ago. He’s always giving love. He’s kind of one of my favorite people that I worked with. He was just the realest. It was in-your-face and aggressive, but every time I was with him, sitting with him, he was just speaking a lot of truth and you can’t really f**k with someone who’s speaking truth.'
Onlangs spraken Spencer en Heidi zich nog uit over The Hills en Heidi noemde voormalige 'vriendin' Lauren Conrad de 'nepste' persoon uit de show en dat ze altijd maar alsof deed in hun 'vriendschap'. Spencer ging nog een stapje verder en noemde Lauren 'een koelbloedige moordenaar':
'She is a cold-hearted killer...That’s what people don’t get. She will cut you in your sleep. She tried to destroy us. If you want to throw missiles, I’m throwing a nuke. This is how I operate.'
Zeker Justin Bobby, aardige jongen die Spencer.
Verder doet Justin nog meer uit de doeken over The Hills. Zo is de naam 'Justin Bobby' ontstaan, omdat hij zijn echte naam niet wilde gebruiken in de show en dus aan goede vriendin Audrina vroeg om zijn middelste naam te gebruiken, Robert aka Bobby. Audrina vergat het echter steeds, en daardoor ontstond Justin Bobby.
Opmerkelijk: Justin vertelt voor het eerst dat zijn relatie met Audrina écht helemaal nep was. Ze waren gewoon hele goede vrienden:
'Were we like boyfriend girlfriend? No, we weren’t. We worked a lot, we had some moments, we spent a lot of time together. Beyond most we became really, really good close friends.'
En die welbekende scène waarin hij Audrina achterlaat op het strand in Malibu? Waardoor deze befaamde quote dus ontstond:

'I was all over the tabloids, “‘J-Bobby leaves Audrina empty handed at a beach party.” And then they’d show me the clip and she’s holding the helmet crying. I’m like, I just came to do those scenes and leave. We didn’t come together, we didn’t leave together, she came in her Mercedes and left in her Mercedes and I just came to work. I was bummed because I would have never left her if we came together at all, there’s no way. I’m not that type of guy.'
