Taylor Swift won vannacht bij de Grammy Awards de prijs voor 'Album van het Jaar', voor haar nieuwste album 1989. Taylor won ook de muziekprijs der muziekprijzen voor 'Best Music Video' voor haar hit Bad Blood en waarom dat weer heel toepasselijk is... Iets met Kanye misschien?
De zangeres besloot haar winst namelijk in te zetten om in haar acceptance speech jonge vrouwen en #sisterhood aan te spreken:
'As the first woman to win 'Album of the Year' at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there, there are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success, or take credit for your accomplishments, or fame, but you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you.'
Heel duidelijk dat het dikgedrukte deel natuurlijk sloeg op Kanye West, die op zijn nieuwe album The Life of Pablo onder andere rapt over Taylor en zegt dat hij 'that b*tch famous heeft gemaakt'. Dit was dus Taylor Swifts reactie daarop. Bijna nét zo goed als die van haar broer.
