Werd precies vorige week bekend dat Angelina Jolie en Brad Pitt gaan scheiden, geven nu ook Leiv Schreiber en Naomi Watts aan dat ze na 11 jaar uit elkaar zijn. Wát is er aan de hand in Hollywood, mensen???
Leiv en Naomi laten aan Entertainment Weekly met een gezamenlijk statement weten:
'Over the past few months we've come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple. It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship. While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy.'
De 47-jarige Naomi Watts en 48-jarige Leiv Schreiber zijn samen sinds 2005, maar stapten nooit in het huwelijkbootje. Wel kregen ze twee kinderen; Alexander (9) en Samuel (7).
