Vannacht werd in Amerika het derde en laatste debat gehouden tussen Hillary Clinton en Donald Trump. En, zoals verwacht, ging het er weer hard aan toe. Trump zei vreselijke dingen over Mexicanen, noemde Clinton een 'nasty woman' én sprak zich uit over abortus. Maar dat ging toch even flink mis.
Blijkbaar heeft de Republikeinse kandidaat geen idee hoe het in z'n werk gaat, want hij gaf 't volgende statement:
'If you go with what Hillary is saying, in the ninth month you can take the baby, and rip the baby out of the womb of the mother just prior to the birth of the baby. Based on what she's saying, and based on where she's going and where she's been, you can take the baby, and rip the baby out of the womb in the ninth month, only the final day. And that's not acceptable.'
Uiteraard ging het op social media meteen los.
