Ben je het al zat om over Leonardo DiCaprio en Kate Winslet te lezen? Neuh, natuurlijk niet.
We kunnen met z'n allen geen genoeg krijgen van deze platonische liefdesaffaire en daarom wil je dit geweldige throwback-interview van Leonardo DiCaprio bij Oprah in 2004 ook niet gemist hebben. Wanneer iemand in het publiek namelijk aan Leo vraagt wat zijn favoriete on-screen kiss was, vertelt-ie:
'I'm just gonna go with Kate Winslet, good old classic.'
Oprah laat daarna een filmpje zien van Kate Winslet die vertelt hoe het was om met Leonardo te werken aan Titanic in 1998:
'I was like probably how all the women in this audience are, about Leonardo DiCaprio. Initially, I thought, "Ugh, how am I gonna work with this beautiful man who's such a brilliant actor?" And I met him and he's honestly so lovely and down-to-earth and normal and so good at what he does.'
Leonardo's reactie daarop? 'That's my girl.' *smelt*
Daarna vervolgt de toen 29-jarige acteur met:
'I feel the same way about her. If it wasn't for her making that film, we would have been shrapnel at this point. It was just the toughest film we ever had to make and we were partners together.'
