Ai, ai, ai. De Jelena-club is een hardnekkige club, die niet gauw zal geloven dat Justin Bieber ooit met iemand anders kan of wil zijn dan Selena Gomez. Ook niet met zijn Hailey Bieber, per slot van rekening zijn huidige vrouw.
Het Instagramacccount @jaileyisajoke commentte onder een foto van Justin van Hailey Bieber, met de tekst: 'You are NOT in love with Hailey! You only married her to get back at SG.'
Justin Bieber: 'Ik hield en hou van Selena'
Kijk, en dat wilde Justin Bieber plots (waarom nu? Waarom bij dit comment?) niet zomaar voorbij laten gaan, en dus klom hij in zijn smartphonetoetsenbord om een behoorlijk lange reactie op te tekenen. Die leest als volgt:
'Ur immature the fact that you have an account dedicated to dissing my wife and I is absolutely absurd. Why would I dedicate my whole life to someone in marriage to get back.'
Hij vervolgt:
'Anyone who believes this is mean spirited or 10 years old or younger because a logical person doesn’t talk or think this way u should be ashamed of yourself really.'
En over zijn liefde voor Selena Gomez schrijft hij:
'I absolutely loved and love Selena. She will always hold a place in my heart, but I am head over heels in love with my wife and she is absolutely the BEST THING that has ever happened to me period.'
Daarna richt hij zich tot de maker achter de post:
'The fact that you want to spend your day dedicating yourself to hate says a lot about you. I’ve seen multiple people say things like this and will never respond again to a message like this because I don’t like to or even give it energy but this is a reply to all immature messages like "he always goes back to Selena" or "Selena is better for him" YOU HAVE NO IDEA MY LIFE AND WHATs good for me!!'
En weer terug naar Hailey:
'Hailey is my Bride period and if you don’t like that or support that that means you don’t support me and if you don’t support me your [sic] not a fan nor a good person.'
Tot slot schreef hij:
'If you were raised right your parents would have said if you don’t have something nice to say don’t say anything. Stop sending Hailey and I these messages.'
Daarna screenshotte hij zijn reactie en deelde hij hem in zijn eigen Instagram Stories, zodat het nou eens afgelopen kan zijn met die geruchten over resterende Selena/Justin-liefde.
Zo. Dat is nogal wat. Het onderwerp ligt gevoelig, omdat niet alleen fans, maar ook celebgossipingewijden, zoals Enty Lawyer, al langer beweren dat Justin Bieber eigenlijk met Gomez wilde trouwen, maar dat niet van Gomez' familie mocht omdat Bieber een slechte invloed zou hebben. Zo zou Bieber nog steeds dure cadeaus naar Gomez sturen.

Ondertussen gaan er ook geruchten dat Justin Bieber jong vader wil worden met Hailey, nadat hij eerst zijn mentale problemen heeft opgelost. Een bron aan Entertainment Weekly meldt:
'Justin and Hailey have talked about kids, and it’s a priority to them. They want to be in the right place before having them: having a home, being married, and Justin being in a good mental state.'
