Je kunt award season nog niet zat zijn voor we bij de Oscars aankomen. Jaarlijks loopt de crème de la crème van Hollywood uit voor de felbegeerde ceremonie, maar voor het zo ver is, moet je wel weten wie er genomineerd is. Dus hier komen ze: de Oscar-nominaties van 2024.
Oscar nominaties 2024
's Ochtends vroeg in Los Angeles maakten Zazie Beets en Jack Quaid bekend wie er op 10 maart 2024 kans maken op een felbegeerde Oscar. Tientallen professionals die aangesloten zijn bij de Academy Awards hebben zich weken, mogelijk zelfs maanden, gebogen over de inzendingen en zijn eruit wie er een nominatie verdienen. Dit zijn ze.
De genomineerden voor de Oscars 2024
Zoals verwacht staan er een paar blockbusters op de lijst van genomineerden voor een Oscar. De grootste kanshebbers zijn Oppenheimer (13 nominaties), Killers of the Flower Moon (10 nominaties) en Poor Things (11 nominaties) . Ook Maestro weet 7 nominaties in de wacht te slepen, net als Anatomy of a Fall (5 nominaties) en Barbie (8 nominaties). Bij de laatste film, onze persoonlijke favoriet, moet wel gezegd worden dat zowel Greta Gerwig als Margot Robbie zijn gesnubbed in twee grote categorieën, namelijk Beste Regisseur en Beste Actrice in een hoofdrol. Wat?! Een beste domper helaas.

De Oscars 2024 zullen op 10 maart 2024 worden uitgereikt in het Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Dit jaar wordt de presentatie opnieuw gedaan door Jimmy Kimmel. Dit is de vierde keer dat de talkshowhost het Oscar-podium betreedt, in 2017, 2018 en 2023 bekleedde hij dezelfde rol.
