Hebben we net kunnen genieten van het Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life-vierluik, kunnen we ons heel waarschijnlijk gaan opmaken voor nóg meer nieuwe afleveringen. En vooruit, dat moest ook wel, met die enorme cliffhanger en 'those four final words' waar A Year In The Life mee eindigde.
Niets is nog zeker, maar de chief content officer van Netflix, Ted Sarandos, heeft bevestigd dat ze in gesprek zijn met de makers van de show. Aan Press Association:
'We obviously loved the success of the show, fans loved how well it was done, it delivered what they hoped.'
Hij vervolgt:
'The worst thing is to wait a couple of years for your favourite show to come back and for it to disappoint you, but they sure delivered and people were really excited about more and we have been talking to them about the possibility of that.'
We geven toe: het is niet veel, zeker gezien Sarandos de gesprekken 'very preliminary' noemde, maar toch: het is iets!
